The 5th annual Georgia Healthcare Trade Faire & Regional Conference, a full day event, will take place this year on Thursday, September 30th, 2010. The event will return to the beautiful Westin Peachtree Hotel in downtown Atlanta. The event runs from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

GA HIMSS Town Hall - Translating HITECH into High Quality
A Georgia Healthcare Executive Roundtable
The Georgia Chapter of HIMSS in conjunction with Emory Healthcare in Atlanta and Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah sponsored the First Annual Georgia HIMSS Town Hall entitled “Translating HITECH to High Quality” on April 29, 2010. The highlight of the Town Hall connected an executive panel in Atlanta and Savannah via video conferencing in order to bring the state closer together on this momentous debate. Our Student Outreach Program focuses on educating High School and Middle School students on the professions in our medical communities.
